The 0.5" (12.7 mm) Force Sensor, also known as a Force Sensitive Resistor (FSR), is a compact and ultra-thin sensor designed to detect force, pressure, or touch applied to its active sensing area. As force is applied, the sensor’s resistance decreases proportionally, allowing easy measurement using a simple voltage divider circuit.

With a 12.7 mm circular sensing area, this force sensor is ideal for applications requiring localized pressure detection. It operates efficiently with standard 3.3V or 5V systems, making it fully compatible with Arduino, Raspberry Pi, ESP32, AVR, PIC, ARM, and other microcontrollers.

The sensor features a fast response time and flexible construction, enabling use in dynamic and space-constrained projects.
